The second book of our book discussion series about the American Civil War is available at the library. James McPherson’s Crossroads of Freedom: Antietam, is available in print and audio versions. This is a “skinny” book! Lots of time to pick up a copy at the library and read it before the discussion.
Discussion will be Tuesday, February 21st in the Frontier Room of the Pioneer Trails Regional Museum (use the alley entrance). Our discussion will be facilitated by Tim Rodenberger.
For more information about this book, CSPAN has a video of the author speaking about this book. You can find the video at this link.
Salon.com has a review of the book here.
For more information about obtaining a copy of the book or about the discussion group, call the museum at 523-3600 or the library at 523-3797.
See you there!
