TutorND
is a new service that provides free tutoring services to North Dakotans of all ages. You will be able to interact with a professional tutor via the Internet in a “one-on-one” format. Expert tutors are available to offer assistance in subjects ranging from English to math, science to social studies, and more. All tutors are professionally tested in their respective subject area and screened with background checks, so parents can feel safe about their child’s interaction with tutors. This service is available in the library or from your home computer from Sunday to Thursday from 5-9PM Mountain Time.

The Discovering Collection provides quick access to accurate information via a simple interface. Information is grouped by topic.
LearningExpress Library is a comprehensive, interactive online learning platform of practice tests and tutorial courses designed to hep North Dakotan students improve their skills in math, reading comprehension, science and writing. LearningExpress Library can also help adults learners by providing access to skill-building courses and a broad range of practice tests based on official exams and certifications such as the GED, ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery), Firefighter, Police Officer, Paramedic, EMT Basic, Postal Worker, and Real Estate Exams.
Student Research Center (SRC) is designed for students in grades 6 through 12. It is a great place to find A place to find general information on a variety of topics (business, current events, math, technology, etc.) from a variety of sources (newspapers, magazines, encyclopedias, primary source documents and more). Students can pre-determine which content sources (e.g., Magazines, Newspapers, Biographies, Country Reports, Film & Video) will be included with their search. They can also search their databases by topic heading, make use of an online dictionary and encyclopedia, explore the top searches of the day, and limit their search according to appropriate Lexile reading levels.
Kids InfoBits is a database developed especially for beginning researchers in Kindergarten through Grade 5. Featuring a developmentally appropriate, visually graphic interface, the most popular search method is moving from a broad subject to a narrower topic using the subject-based topic tree. The curriculum-related, age appropriate, full-text content is from the best elementary reference sources and magazines. This database covers geography, current events, the arts, science, health, people, government, history, sports and more.
