Quilt Unveiling

Join us on Sunday, April 7th from 2-4 for the Unveiling of the quilt made by the Book Club Quilters. We’ll have refreshments and classical guitarist, Jacob Krein, will be here to play.
The quilters read the novel “First Ladies” by Marie Benedict & Victoria Christopher Murray in October of 2023. A book club discussion followed at the BRPL. The quilters were invited to make 12” and 6” blocks with the only directions that they use the colors red, white & blue.
The blocks were collected. Four quilter from the group got together, designed, & sewed the quilt into on using their four vintage featherweight sewing machines.
The quilt was passed on to Wanda Belland who machine quilted it with her long arm quilting machine. The quilt was completed in 2024.
